Upon completion of my horticulture degree in 1977, my work has been devoted to the development of green spaces. Down Home Landscaping and Hyams Landscape and Garden Center kept me busy in horticulture for the next thirteen (13) years, with my first palm tree being planted in 1977. Palm Trees Ltd. was established in 1990 and is the largest company dedicated strictly to palm trees north of the Florida State line.

Our beginning plantings were only the Sabal Palmetto and by the end of the first year we began experimenting with specimen and unique palms. Currently, we experiment with new palms that we test for cold hardiness and survivability over a two year span. When successful, we then offer them to the public. Our palm selection includes every known variety of palm trees that will live and thrive in this regional zone. Currently, fourteen varieties are in stock and easily attained.

Planting palms isn't our only service either. It is our pleasure to meet with our customers, free of charge, and provide experienced consultations. We will work with you on your palm plan until it suits your site's specific needs. Once the planting is completed, we provide our customers with a complete maintenance and watering schedule so there is no guesswork involved. All trees planted are accompanied by a two-year warranty.
